Thing To Do In - St Lucia

Gros Islet Street Party

Every Friday night starting at sunset, the residents of Gros Islet fire up their barbecues, ice down the Piton beer, set up table-top bars in the streets, and get ready to welcome thousands of enthusiastic revelers to the colorful fishing town’s narrow streets.

Pigeon Island Causeway Beach

Pigeon Island National Landmark is heralded as one of the most important monuments of Saint Lucia’s history. It is a vivid representation of the cultural and historical monuments of international, civil, military and marine cross currents, characteristic of West Indian historical change.

Majestic Gros Piton Hike

For those willing to rise early for the march up to the 2,620-foot (798-meter) summit of Gros Piton, the panoramic views over the Caribbean are well worth it. A guide leads the way along the easily accessed route while sharing information about the iconic peak and its twin, Petit Piton, which dominate the west coast of St. Lucia.

Rainforest Hike and Waterfall Safari

Take a scenic drive down the west coast of the island, with your first stop at a local fruit sampling station. Fresh fruits for tasting while over looking acres and acres of banana fields. We continue down into the beautiful cascading Venus Estate Waterfall.

Pigeon Island National Park

Pigeon Island appeals to an eclectic mix of travelers. You could get a history lesson about the landmark’s previous occupants (including a pirate with a wooden leg) or learn more about the development of the causeway that currently connects the island to the mainland. You could also attend a concert (this is the site of the annual St. Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival) or explore 18th-century military ruins, including Fort Rodney, which affords panoramic views of the ocean and Rodney Bay. There are two beaches and a few restaurants situated within the 44-acre national landmark, as well.

Sulphur Springs

The Sulphur Springs Park is a world renowned site where visitors from all over the world come to experience the black water pool baths and learn about the drive in volcano’s history in a guided tour through the park.
